Well, now...wasn't that a fun little party? Heh! Can't say I didn't enjoy myself, though.

I have to say 'sorry' to those of you watching the end of the fight there; it got a little violent towards the end, but that Agito was a stubborn guy. I've seen it replayed on the 'teevee', and he was looking a bit bloody when I dragged him out of all that dust. It looks like he decided to head home afterwards...

*a faint voice, a staff member who politely points out blood dripping from his side*

Hmm? Oh, I did get a bit scratched up, didn't I? Some good food and a little quality down time should do the trick. N-no, now, don't make a fuss. I'm still a bit riled up, so don't get too close.~

*snrk, laughter* I'm just kidding, just kidding! I'm just messing with you! I can't have any fun with you guys, can I? I stopped making you all faint, didn't I?

Aaaanyway, come out and celebrate with me, everyone! It seems like I'm the Number One Contender!

I'd imagine some of you may be wondering why I decided to throw that match. It probably seemed a bit odd, since Luffy and I got off to a pretty strong start. Why, when we could've won against the opposing team, did we stop and simply smilingly surrender?

Well, I'll tell you this much: I'm not going to tell you! *Shanks erupts in teasing, playful laughter, along with the sound of his clentched fist pounding the table in amusement*

Nope, you'll all just have to wonder about it forever, especially my esteemed opponents.~

Well! If anyone happens to be looking for me, in search of a partner perhaps, I shouldn't be hard to find.

In any case, I'm glad to see the next tournament getting started. Not that things have been dull by any means, what with all the absolutely colorful characters roaming around this city, but this is another good opportunity for me to find a little sport. That's what I came here for, isn't it?

*indistinguishable*

Hmm? Oh, it's time for lunch, isn't it? I feel a little bit better that she did not get as hurt as badly as I thought she might.

It looks like there's no one else here quite strong enough to take on Dio-san. I've been trying to watch the new arrivals as well, but even though many of them hold a great spirit, I don't believe it's enough.

Now I wish I hadn't been holding back during our first match. I wasn't sure how much I could do without causing too much strain on the crowd, and I played around until it was too late.

Well, hopefully he won't get carried away with his new status after he wins this tournament. I suppose I won't restrain myself in my next fight, so that I'll be kept in the same tier as him. Maybe I've grown too accustomed to being so widely feared, because now, I'd like the two of us to be seen as fighters beyond challenge.~

[filter removed // public]
Spekkio-sama! Anyone, really...I know I'm out of the tournament, but that's no reason to rest on my laurels so soon, is it? Plus, if I take it easy, I'll start to get a little...restless.~

So, I guess I lost my debut here. Tsk, it's sort of a shame, but that was some fight! HA! Never had more fun in my life, even getting beaten up. The crowd seemed to like it, though, so it wasn't all bad. We really got 'em riled up, so the next two out there will really have to keep up the same pace if they want to keep 'em happy.

Tell you what, though, that Dio guy is some piece of work. Out of professional courtesy, I won't tell anybody what his ability is, but I definitely know now, and the next time I get a chance to go against him, I'll just have to really stick it to him before he can take advantage of it.

I wonder how the other fights are going. I'm pretty interested in seeing what some of the others here can do. Maybe I'll go sit in on the next one!

*knock-knock!*

Eh? Hang on a second, please.

*indistinguishable*

...what? No-no, I told you guys, I'm fine!
